不過,想標題很頭痛,所以,我還是很不要臉的下了....XD

這是波蘭廠商問我的問題,我簡要的整理後,

請我妹幫忙翻譯,再請白菜菜幫忙整理修正...

內容純粹是我個人的感受,如果有任何不正確的地方,

前言:

台灣早期購買拼圖的地方,可以簡單區分為:夜市、玩具店、書局,後來加入專賣店。網路拍賣平台風行後,又加入了網路平台。而pintoo一開始是網路銷售,是拍賣平台以外,專門的網路銷售網站。

 

Preface:

The following places, night markets, toy shops and bookstores, are where you can buy the jigsaw puzzles in Taiwan.  At first, these places are the only places you can purchase.  When the Internet started to be popular, people can also buy them on websites.  There is a brand named ‘Pintoo’, it is not only the first one sold on the Internet but also the first one who runs the exclusive agency of jigsaw puzzles in Taiwan.

 

購買處: 

夜市:

早期,夜市的販賣是最為普遍的,連鋁框一起販賣,拼圖印刷品質相當普通,拼片品質也稍嫌粗糙,但價格低廉,所以家長購買給孩子的意願也較高。當時夜市拼圖多半是風景圖,沒有插畫類、想像(wasgij)可供選擇。

近期,夜市一樣有在販賣拼圖,但已經漸漸加入日製的拼圖,少量歐美拼圖,而台灣自己的品牌,則多是平價類的為主。

  1. Night markets

During early periods, jigsaw puzzles were available the most in any night markets. They sold with the aluminum-frame.  At that time, the printing quality was just all right. Sometimes the quality of individual pieces was a little rough, but the price was so cheap that parents were willing to buy for kids.  The selections were usually scenery; there were no illustration or wasgij for alternative.

 

Recently, it is still available in night markets. Distributors start to sell jigsaw puzzles that were made in Japan and few made in Europe and in USA.  As for local brands, the parity is in the majority.

 

 

玩具店:

台灣的玩具店主要銷售是以玩具為主,且日系算較為大宗,拼圖只是附帶販賣的,並不是主力銷售品。除了少數特定的玩具店外,多數的玩具店都是販賣日系拼圖。

 

  1. Toy shops

In Taiwan,  the primary selling of toy shops are toys, especially the ones from Japan. Jigsaw puzzles are the secondary.  Most of the shops provide Japanese jigsaws except for a few specific shops.

 

 

專賣店:

一般的拼圖專賣店,販賣的拼圖,都是以日系為主:Tenyoappollo-shaym等,圖案以插畫類、迪士尼、史努比等卡通人物為主,市場最大,一般人也最容易接受。

 

雷諾瓦可以算是專賣店中的翹楚,以連鎖體系為主,跟著誠品書局一起發展,有誠品書局的地方,就有他們。他們重視店內佈置,就算櫃位不大,也要做出精美的感受。他們為了與市場區隔,捨棄了大家最容易接受的日本拼圖,主要販賣歐系拼圖:HeyeEduca2005年開始自製拼圖,最一開始就是主推幾米,後面開始加入台灣本土畫家:劉其偉,跟故宮授權的畫作。

 

以定價與授權方向來看,雷諾瓦是走精品路線,就像LvCoach一樣,喜歡的顧客得到專賣店購買。他們鮮少外放自己品牌的拼圖給其他拼圖專賣店販賣,他讓拼友非得到他們自己的店面購買不可,價格由自己掌握,不會像日本拼圖,雖然普及,價格卻十分混亂。也因此,雷諾瓦的定價相當高,價格直逼日本拼圖的價位,儘管提供會員制,但一幅1000片要價1280元,就算打了八折,還是相當高價。

 

  1. Exclusive Agencies

Generally speaking, the commodities in exclusive agency are largely from Japan such as Tenyo, Apollo-Sha, Yanoman,… etc.  The patterns are mostly illustrations or famous cartoon characters e.g. Disney or Snoopy.  People accept these offers the most and these patterns are the biggest markets as well.

 

Among the exclusive agencies, the one called “Renoir” is the best.  It is the first jigsaw puzzle chain shop.  It cooperates with the most successful chain bookstores “Eslite”.  It always comes with “Eslite”.  Renoir pays attention to the decorations inside the stores. They want to make jigsaw puzzle delicate, even if the store is small.

 

The distinction between Renoir and other markets, Renoir gives up the Japan ones which are most accepted.  They sell European brands for instant Heye , Educa and Jumbo.  Since 2005, Renoir has started to manufacture their brand of jigsaw puzzles. The works of the illustrator Jimmy are their main products.  After a while, they start to cooperate with other Taiwanese artists and the fine works which are authorized by the National Palace Museum.

 

According to the price and authority, Renoir is pretty much like LV or Coach.  Puzzles are not just a puzzle or a just a toy.  Renoir pushes the puzzles into a luxurious product.  If you like one of their products, you can only buy in their shops. They rarely authorize their own series to other distributors.  As a customer, their shops are the only places you can get.  Unlike Japan ones, they control their own prices as well.  The biggest problem of Japanese jigsaws is that the prices are too confused; even they are the most accepted.  Therefore, you can imagine that the published price of each Renoir product is never cheap.  The price is so close to the fine and luxury ones made in Japan.  For example, a 1000-piece product costs NT 1280 (Euro 32).  Even if you have the highest membership discount of 20% off, it is still expensive.

 

 

網路平台:拍賣平台普及後,yahoo跟露天提供一般店家除了店面銷售以外的管道,一般在這個平台上的售價會略低於店面。Pintoo以網路平台為主,慢慢回頭拓展實體店面,他使用自己架構的網路平台,並與便利商店(7-11)配合,讓購物者有一個最便利的取貨管道,只要收到簡訊到便利商店取貨即可。無需先付費,收到再付款。

 

  1. Online platforms

Different from real shops, Yahoo and Ruten provide another way for selling when the Internet is more and more general.  On the whole, the prices are cheaper than the real shops.  Take ‘Pintoo’ as   an   example, they run   their   business on the Net at the beginning.

 

Pintoo has its own website and cooperate with 7-11. This way, they provide the most convenient way to their customers.  After made the order via their website, you only need wait until the next notified text message from 7-11 and pay plus pick up item.  

 

 

拼圖競賽:

雷諾瓦應該是最早在台灣辦大型拼圖比賽的公司,他們分店遍及台灣,因此活動北中南都會顧及。早期是個人賽為主,後來加入了馬拉松類型的比賽,比賽使用的拼圖都會特別製作,馬拉松更會製作一個專用拼圖,加入每一隊的隊名,那一幅,就會是馬拉松的開場拼圖。但去年20週年後,所有活動都先暫停,今年也沒有看到有複辦的動作。

 

Pintoo則是趁今年開辦了第一屆的比賽,它的模式跟雷諾瓦有點不同,同一天就完成了初賽跟決賽,參賽者報名後,都會拿到專屬自己的選手證,當然,選手證也是個40片的拼圖。

 

Activities:

It is believed that Renoir was the first company which held the jigsaw puzzle games in Taiwan.  Because their shops are all over Taiwan, the games are from north to south. The type of games was individual at first.  They entered the marathon type later.  The jigsaw puzzles for competitions are special-made.  If you joined the marathon type, they would make all the team names  inside the puzzles, that one would be the opening one for the competition.  Last year 2010 was the 20th anniversary.  But since then, they paused all the activities.  They don’t have any activities so far this year.

 

Pintoo started the first game this year. But the model is different from Renoir. The eliminations and the finals are on the same day. When you join the game, you will get a contestant card, of course, the card is made by a 40-piece puzzle.

 

 

拼圖材質:

一般的拼圖材質都是紙類,但pintoo的是塑膠,因此,他雖然製作拼圖相當長一段時間,大家卻只對他的3D拼圖、球型拼圖印象深刻。事實上pintoo3D-JP的子品牌,塑膠拼圖特有的手感,讓大家對它的拼圖感興趣,當然,拼友之間的口耳相傳,知名blog的推廣也是讓他在短時間內爆紅的原因。

 

Material:

Generally speaking, the material is paper.  However, the material of Pintoo is plastic. Therefore, it takes a long time to finish a product.  This is also another reason that they are well known by their 3D-puzzles or sphere puzzles.  In fact, Pintoo is a subsidiary brand of 3D-JP company. People are interested in  the unique texture of plastic puzzles very much. The information among puzzlers makes plastic ones so popular. The famous bloggers is also another reason that makes it a hit in a short time.
